Harvard Business School Social Enterprise Initiative Marks 25 Years

Award-winning producer Keith Clinkscales serves as the CEO of Shadow League Digital, a sports news network. Before launching his career in the media, Keith Clinkscales earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School (HBS).

HBS is home to a unique program called the Social Enterprise Initiative (SEI), which focuses on high-impact social change. SEI marked its 25th anniversary in May with a two-day educational event attended by more than 300 alumni, students, faculty members, and special guests.

Called “Frontiers of Change: 25 Years of Social Enterprise at HBS,” the conference highlighted the HBS history of social enterprise and emerging solutions that have the potential to address society’s biggest challenges. With a variety of social entrepreneurs and government leaders in attendance, the event included sessions on the new generation of alumni leaders and the role of business leaders in supporting positive social change by partnering with philanthropic and nonprofit entities.

Going forward, SEI will continue its work to inspire students, alumni, faculty, and business partners to take the lead in driving social progress.
